When you are in the 8th rapid fire mode, press the extra button on the back (Note it is PRESS, NOT Hold), the controller will return to the 1st rapid fire mode. If you press the extra button for 2-4 seconds till the 4th indication light goes out, it means that the controller has switched back to the normal mode. And then when you press the extra button again, the controller will return to the previous mode you were in.
